CASES welcomes new Division Chair

Following recent open recruitment, congratulations are extended to our new Division Chair who has been appointed by the Human Resources, Remuneration and Appointments Committee, and ratified by the Board. Dr Patricia Jackman MCASES will take up post as new Psychology Division Chair and Board Director with immediate effect, taking over from Dr Amy Whitehead.

Commenting on the appointment, Trish said: ”I am honoured with the appointment as Chair of the Division. I would like to thank and acknowledge Dr Amy Whitehead for her excellent work in the role over the last two years. With over 1000 CASES members interested in the Psychology Division and growing numbers on SEPAR, this is an exciting time for the Psychology Division, and I am looking forward to the work ahead. Alongside supporting development of SEPAR, we will look to grow attendances at our Division Days/CPD events and explore avenues through which we can enhance the professional development offering for members at different career stages. As we continue to move forward, additional areas of focus will include growing our student membership and being advocates for the wide-ranging contributions that sport and exercise sciences can make to priority areas regionally, nationally, and internationally. I am looking forward to working with the Division and the Board to drive forward the new strategy and operational plan.
